Still, lootboxes did show a thing or two. I dont want to play with people in PVP but I want those expanded features, basically they want to manipulate you to play pvp. I dont want to support them, they have to make the product good, in the first place. But so is online espionage, 'to support making a product better', as MS does with its windows. Corporate decisions are on their part and blaming their victim - consumer is part of a narcisstic behavior and is unacceptable.

It was very poor decision to cut out a great feature like offline LAN, even for people who never used the fakeLAN hamachi and others. All the rest of the vehicles you can see outside your view, big walkers are flown in in pvp and you can enter those, but all that stuff is pvp only.

Map like geonosis with full range of vehicles ? There are 2 geo maps, one that is about flags, the other one there is about advancing in a map and starts what resembles the 2005 map and ends in something that seems to be very film true-like. That would have been epic and much more than old games ever accomplished.Įnvironment is much more as if finished, the bots unless blocked by shot blockers, see and fire at any range so it is sort of cheaty, but I guess that is to be expected. They could have made coop offline and make it use full multiplayer modes. Also the game downloads just 83,7 GB, it is not small at all. You can play starfighters offline, where the CIS battleship spans the whole map, and it seems most of its turrets are active. so in this regard it stays true to old 2005 game. So, to me the best parts of the game are single player/ coop/(no offline coop) they are as if cut out only for PVP, even though the AI is very well made to handle all those situations, including combat, that is otherwise very twitchy/jumpy/campy. I didnt play campaign, I am not interested in the disney film and their stuff, it felt like some cheap ideological propaganda to me, the first one I saw, didnt bother with another one. there is no entering vehicles because those are tied to your spawn, so you exit, they explode.

There is no offline mode for big battles so you cant try that stuff for yourself. The game doesnt let you see where aand if a vehicle has weakspots. They could have made the big pvp maps for single player and that would have been something.ĬIS big spider beam vehicles are non-playable, smaller ones as well, I guess due to 'balance concers' (little skill needed in landing shots over long distance)

It could have been much better and gameplay-wise could resemble like big maps in bf1942 el alamein, where the whole set up could be made to resemble something'believable'.įlying is Id say much more difficult, each fighter type in different era has different 'skills', in pvp it boils down to incredibly op heroes with beamsabers. Some pvp maps in a mode called galactic conquest do use aircraft, like hoth, has them ATATs, speeders and other stuff, but those are not in offline, (only you, no split screen or anything like it :D, no LAN, cause youre a pirate unless proven otherwise :D)įlying as air support or something like trying to support say a geonosis advance of republic, air fighting over a battlefield, is sadly out. Offline is only 10 v 10 with tickets per kill, no transports, just generalist fighter, light hp interceptor, and bomber. Space combat, you dont go and enter enemy ships. No flying speeders offline, no ATAT, no LAAT, no republic big walker in COOP even. There are I think 2 maps, one on geonosis, one on kashyyk, where you have vehicles of a tank class. I consider this completely inferior mode. There is one mode that is just taking out a number of enemies no objectives, just an indicator of where roughly enemies are.
